Personal Data Explained

This policy explains the information involved in using spritzpuzzlewhistl.live. Last updated: 21 February 2026.

Who is responsible

Spritzpuzzlewhistl Cycling Media Ltd is responsible for personal information handled through this website and our editorial correspondence. Our registered office is 32 Park Place, Leeds LS1 2SP, United Kingdom; company no. 14693582. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or rights requests.

Reading the website

These pages contain no analytics, advertising scripts, third-party embeds or visitor accounts. Loading the site necessarily sends ordinary request information, such as your IP address, requested resource and browser headers, to the hosting infrastructure. Technical service logs may be processed to deliver pages, investigate faults and protect the site. We do not use those requests to build advertising profiles.

The local message builder

The contact tool constructs text in your browser. It does not submit form entries to us or save them in browser storage. Entries remain in the current page’s memory until you leave or reload; your browser may separately restore form state under its own settings. Clipboard access occurs only when you choose Copy. Download creates a text file on your device when you choose Download.

You control any copied or downloaded information and should protect it appropriately. The tool is not intended for health records or sensitive personal data. We receive your message only if you separately send it, for example through your email provider.

Correspondence and lawful bases

If you email us, we process the name, email address, message and attachments you choose to provide. We use them to answer questions, review corrections and handle requests. Our usual lawful basis is legitimate interests in operating an editorial publication and responding to relevant correspondence. Where applicable, we may process information to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Do not send another person’s confidential information without a proper basis. If sensitive information is received unnecessarily, we aim to remove it rather than use it for editorial profiling.

Storage, access and retention

Website and email service providers may process information on our behalf for hosting, delivery, security and support. Access should be limited to people who need it for those purposes. We do not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect legal rights.

We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to deal with the matter, maintain relevant editorial records and meet legal requirements. Retention depends on the nature of the message and any continuing dispute or obligation. Where providers process data outside the United Kingdom, applicable transfer requirements and safeguards must be addressed. Contact us for information relevant to your particular request.

Browser preferences

The cookie-preferences page can store your choice in localStorage. This is not an advertising identifier and is not sent to us by the site script. See Cookie Preferences for the key, values and removal controls.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law provides rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Where consent is relied on, it can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. We normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions and exceptions.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We welcome the opportunity to address your concerns first, but that is not a condition of contacting the regulator.

External links and updates

Following a source link takes you to another organisation’s website, which has its own privacy practices. We may update this policy when the site’s processing changes and will revise the date above. Material new uses of information require appropriate notice and, where needed, consent.
